A great view of a favourite place - though it always seems to be raining ![]()

I know that view well, and that lovely garden hidden within the walls (lovely rock plants growing in the walls here). An attractive contrast in this, cold defensive stone and a little secret haven.
Moira
One of my favourite place Johanna, so much to see there. Lovely view of the castle and that impressive old tree, fine capture.

A long number of years since last I was there but such an amazing & important part of Scottish history. The contrast between the verdant garden and the strength of the grey stonework really work so well in a most excellently composed and captured image.
Ann
Attractive stonework and a lovely big tree to frame the castle nicely. The little bit of colour in the bottom left helps to life the image.
A lovely peek into the softer side of Stirling Castle. I've never seen this part of the castle and missed a wonderful place for the camera.

A nice composition and capture of this lovely castle, Johanna
I've only ever seen it from a distance when travelling further north in Scotland on the coach and passing Stirling.
