Corpach Boat

Corpach Boat by Sue_R

Lovely picture, reminds me of my holiday in Scotland last year.

Waves by Lisi

You have done well to get a good tonal range out of the bright froth, good photo.

...because Velvia gives you blue sky, beige sand and reds which are red, whereas Agfachrome would have given you a pallid sky, grey sand and reds which are a sort of off-magenta. Wink

Lovely shot.

Blue Wave

This doesn't quite work for me - I feel either the whole picture should have the false colour effect or none of it - but half and half is not doing it for me I'm afraid!

Emerald Damselfly 2

Lovely picture - but to me it just begs for a touch more contrast and brightness. It just looks a little "flat" to me.

Thirsty Swan

Thirsty Swan by boran

Wonderfully different swan picture, I like the fill flash and the overall balance of lighting, well done.

Grotesque but eye catching!

Great to see a parrot in such a different pose!

Scottish Wildcat

I don't think there's anything wrong with the white balance...

Another fly

Another fly by Belleyeteres

Great shot. The fly is here demonstrating that while the back pair of legs are for propulsion and the middle pair for steering, the front legs are just for cleaning each other.

Wiggly Worms

Wiggly Worms by DilysT

Interesting subject - I'd have liked to see the band of sharp focus a little more to the front of the image, but that's just me.

So cute the hedgepig Smile

I like the vignetting, works well.
