I, like thousands before me and after me, am new to this site and what a great site ePHOTOzine is! I welcome all comments & critiques so long as they are constructive and encouraging Happy snapping everyone!

I am a proud mother of two beautiful children. I have always had a passion and love for the art that is photography, from taking my own to viewing others' works. I was bitten by the photography bug in my mid 20's and now overcome with the pure rapture of capturing that perfect image! The gratification, satisfaction & pride of seeing the finished product is, simply put, pure joy. Unfortunately a cheap camera was letting me down. I was told I had a natural eye, however needed a better camera. Fast-forward to 2011 and I purchased my first decent camera, not a DSLR, but a great compact for learning all the features & facets and what they mean - I will one day have my dream camera, then watch me shine. I don't wish to be a professional photographer, but more of an enthusiast, albeit a very passionate one! Photography is my way to express myself and how I see the wonderful world around me. I am appreciating it more & more with each image I capture.
