This barn owl was flying in the shade, but the horizon was sunny. It gave this rather weird effect of tones that don't seem to match...
The owl usually flies at the end of the day at the ICBP when the shade of the walnut tree makes exposure a nightmare

well shot, not an easy Bird to photograph because of the flight times.
