Autumn to me is Stags rutting and these fantastic subjects for stacking, eating (not this one) and macro time with wet dirty knees. There is nothing quite like spending a few hours in a damp and dark wood searching low for something the size of a small nail and then making them look large for the viewer.
I hope you enjoy this 5 image stack of newly emerging Armillaria cepistipes.
