Taken with my new toy the Canon S95. This enables me to point and shoot whilst travelling around the suburbs of Leeds instead of carrying a large DSLR with all the equipment in the cab. This was taken from a run down area (Holbeck) Leeds. Its looking towards the regenerated city centre. Many thanks for all your comments and votes on my previous upload, they are all taken onboard as I shoot and learn. Maybe with this little toy I will be posting more images but not making any promises ...lol ![]()

Hi Robert
Nice to see you back, great capture but V2 stands out for the great tones.
Regards
Trev.
A super urban landscape, good composition. Both versions work well, maybe the bw has the edge.
Enjoy your new toy.
David
For me the coloured version in v1 - you've caught some splendid detail with that new toy - enjoy it !!!
Helen
Both excelleent images of this scene. V2 is beautifully presented but for me, it is as almost always the colour version. Wonderful shapes in some of those old structures which I hope they intend retaining. Great clarity and detail in these shots and I think you've a great future with your new "toy"!
Ann
Both excellent but like V1 great details.Well done..Lin
I have flicked from V1 to V2 50 times at least - I almost gave myself a ticking off for "zapping" as men seem apt to do with the TV remote control!
Just love this. An image of real everyday. And I still cannot decide on V1 or 2 and if I could would vote for both.
Great comp and detail - I hope we see more of your wonderful work because every one you upload is so special.
Sue
Two cracking images with so much detail. v.1 but only just, for me. Top work.
Dave.
An appropriate title.
I recall an incident when a builder was asked to construct a new bridge by demolishing the old brick bridge of British era. He told the authority that,"I can't guarantee the new one would last as the old one did ". And eventually both are existing till to day.
Wonderful work - what a difference in the buildings over the years and the foreground.
This is really special!
Well done.

A nice image! I prefer the mono version!
Great tones, light and composition! Well captured!
Cheers
Phil
I really like this - how on earth you make something so rubbishy in the foreground look so beautiful? beats me![]()
i like both versions, V1 has some nice rich colours in, but V2 looks more dramatic
Excellent detail in this fine shot - V1 for me today. You look to have a very good camera there!
Carol
