This is a sink at my work. The tap was dripping and I caught sight of the water drops as I passed.
Out came the wee compact much to the amusement of my colleagues.
Converted to mono using channel mixer then a wee blip of the curves.
Would like to be able to control local areas better but I suppose that will come......

This is a great shot. Well spotted. I would have been tempted to put the hole slightly more towards the centre of the picture, but not too much. You mention local adjustments, and I think the spokes in the hole need extra contrast/brightness. You´ve made me think I need to "borrow" my wifes compact more permanently.

Love this. The use of an "every day" subject to create a very good abstract image. Is this an on going thing, Monday Macro? I'd certainly like to be part of it.
