This is a sink at my work. The tap was dripping and I caught sight of the water drops as I passed.

Out came the wee compact much to the amusement of my colleagues.

Converted to mono using channel mixer then a wee blip of the curves.
Would like to be able to control local areas better but I suppose that will come......

This is a great shot. Well spotted. I would have been tempted to put the hole slightly more towards the centre of the picture, but not too much. You mention local adjustments, and I think the spokes in the hole need extra contrast/brightness. You´ve made me think I need to "borrow" my wifes compact more permanently.

Yeah, just started playing with it yesterday.
PS 6 I think.

Nicely observed.

Very cool image. I agree with Roxy. Something simple but special though.
Best, Bill

Love this. The use of an "every day" subject to create a very good abstract image. Is this an on going thing, Monday Macro? I'd certainly like to be part of it.
I've got a kitchen sink macrolinkif you want to have a look.

As mentioned above, I think the composition is a bit off, but well spotted capture nevertheless. Cheers, Tony.
