I took this series of photos on Sunday evening, lovely weather, but unfortunately for photography the only clouds in the sky were on the busy background side of the bridge, the sunset was over the cranes and not the lovely old victorian buildings on the other side. Three are hrd renditions, one with the man is not. What do you think? Which is better?

No3 for me.
HDR is great for bringing out details but in shots like this I feel you still need some heavy, dark areas to give the mood of the night

I like 4. I think it has great atmosphere. I also like 1 but perhaps moved slightly to the right so that the railings on the left do not interfere quite so much with the lampposts. But I like the shape of the railings as well.

Best wishes

I would have preferred no 1 with an unidendifiable person in black clothes somewhere in the open beige area in the front of the picture.

All are great but No. 3 works best for me b/o the vivid lights on top of the poles seem to contrast better against the sky. But all are lovely compositions.
Ronnie.
