Hi folks,

Time for another moggie shot I thought.....Grin

Here we have my boy Ziggy doing the prowling thing in some long grass, Something got his attention, A bonus as the light was not favourable for black cat images, Especially at 500mm f/8 & 1/80s with ISO800, The OS on the Sigma worked well here....Smile

Roll on spring time.....Wink

Did a B&W conversion that came out quite nice, Could not decide between the two, Hence the version....Sad

I can see your predicament. I too like both of these. The colour shows his amazing eye colour so well yet the b/w is more dramatic. Love them both.........Sandy

Good guess with the settings, those eyes are spot on from a long way out, that lens is a great piece of kit, I would get one if it had the 4/3 mount, but Sigma seem to have forgotten us...Chen.

Both beautiful. I like that little bit of colour coming through his ears in V1, and the tones in V2 are excellent and make his eyes really stand out. But no, no matter how many times I compare them, can't decide.

Both great images but V1 has it for me, the mono loses the sense of connection with those wonderfully captured eyes!
