Like yourself I love the Isle of Mull, such a wide diversity of wildlife and scenery.
My wifes family have the farm at Balmeanach and I met my wife on the shores of Loch Na Keal, not far from where this paicture would have been taken.

Well done, it looks much better than it did in the studio, even then it looked a potentialy strong image. The red gel does it. Again well done I like it.

I concur with the above comments, this is a classic viewpoint, get more foreground, get a dramatic sky, filtered or natural. When I visit this area I like Autumn, when the colours are turning, and you can get a dramatic sumsets with still waters, good for reflections. Don't give up we are all looking for the perfect landscape, lets hope we dont find it, if we did there would be no reason to get out there.
