EXOTIC
Paul - I think you have captured a really wonderful portrait here. This very attractive girl looks so happy and cheerful in her delightful headware. Considering the glare of the sun, for me, the exposure is just right.I am no expert, but here are just two things I should like to change and they are refelected in the mod.
First, I feel the area to the right of the picture is serving no real purpose and because of the person on the other side, it serves only to unbalance the image.
Second, the woman on the other side plainly has her eyes closed or cast down, which to me is in opposition to the main character. In the mod I have made her eyes rather more 'ambiguous'!
I've just added another mod where I have cropped a little more - it feels a little better to me!
I hope some of this is helpful - it is only my opinion and I hope others will offer different and constructive suggestions or opinions also.
All the best - David

I really like the idea of the image - in fact I think V3 has great retro feel - but as you asked Chen, here goes - tho' I'm sure there are those who may disagree For the mod I did the following on the large V2: 1. Levelled horizon 2. Moved walking woman to group 3. Cropped 4. Removed 2 in sea 5. Moved the gull 6. Little unsharp mask 7. 15% Photofilter 81 8. Pianstakingly selected as much sky as poss then darkened the highlight - increased contrast - more cyan and blue - increased saturation - moved hue right a smidge 9. inverted selection and increased saturation, lightness and contrast.
Other than the sky I'm not sure that it's a great improvement but I hope you think it's OK.

Really nice effect with excellent colours and the detail of the trees against the sky with the extra space below works really well. Have You tried 7 exposure HDR in Photomatix Pro? That way there is a wide range of exposure and it is possible to reduce the halo between the trees and the sky which is so hard to avoid with outdoor HDR. Just a thought David
