Just a quick grab shot with the iPhone as I knew I wouldn't have much time today. This is flash photography :P Join us at the 365 Group
I've also uploaded this one to the gallery. Just something that caught my eye at the SouthEast Group meet at Chatham Historic Shipyard forties re-enactment weekend.
Homemade raspberry cheesecake........................................I need a drool smiley. Taken with the Oly XZ-1 in 'pin-hole' mode, the first processed in Sliver Efex Pro 2 and the second just fiddled with in CS4 to tweak a little. I couldn't decide on which one to have for today and ...
More wildlife togging. I was throwing some stuff in the composter and noticed this delightful looking creature, amongst lots of other creepy, slimey things. Butternut and slug soup anyone?
It just wouldn't be September without a picture of a spider. D300s and Sigma 105
Trying to get Arty Farty with the flowers from 364-13 I thnk the Farty bit got lumpy :P
I had to have words with my daughters boyfriend regarding these flowers. The flowers are getting on a bit now but since he bought them alll I've had is: "You never buy me flowers" on and on and on. Buy them again and I'll break yer arms!
So I was in the Amazonian rain forest this morning, and blow me if I shouldn't bump in to an old Bristol K. I didn't expect that and thought I had better take a picture to prove authenticity. I think the high humidity affected my film somehow. :P
Brighton's derelict West Pier on a blustery day. Also in the 365 Group. Come and join us. One a day, everyday.
I'm lovin' this project, it's forcing me to take my camera everywhere and to try and get a shot. I had this one in mind as soon as I parked the car in the multi-storey. I wanted to try out the 'tilt/shift generator' app on the iPad. Not brilliant but a start.
I walked down into the depths of the workshops today and found carnage. Massive pile-up on one of the fitters workbenchs. I didn't see any injured people, hopefully they all got out ok. Taken with the Oly XZ-1 and processed in Snapseed.
My favourite model again today. I did actually take a whole load of still life images with the Nikon D300s that I haven't even looked at yet. I just saw the cat and happened to be in easy reach of the XZ-1. If it was video you would have heard Taz say, "Will you please put that frickin' camera ...
Day 7 and I was on the prowl, little did I know the cat was on the prowl too. Fortunately I had Oly in hand and was able to fend him off. I was lucky to escape with my life. :D
A bicycle reflector. I have to say I think this project is going to be much easier knowing that I can just grab my small Oly XZ-1 to take a quick pic, rather than having to get out the D300s and decide on what lens to use, although that could be another challenge in itself, we'll see. :)
Not quite the cat's whiskers this one, more the cat's paw. I was testing out the macro capabilities of the Oly XZ-1 and took this from about an inch away. Fiddled with in Silver Efex Pro 2
