Another fly using the focus stacking technique. You'll never believe how difficult it is to keep things still for five minutes!
Sigma 105 and two Kenko extension tubes used. Shot in a light tent with a flash to the left.
Stunning detail! I got to get some of them tubes!
I'm stillk practicing Andy. I have seen others sharper and technically far better. So I continue to persevere, I also need to experiment with the stacking software. Thanks for the comment though.

I am struggling with just a normal macro lens to get sharpness with buds on trees, so extension tubes as well is way out of the question.
Just now I think the head on shots have, so far, been better but do appreciate you are trying out new techniques and of course perfectly suits B&W
