Formerly the Old King's School Shop Circa 1647. An inscription above the door "...a very old house bulging over the road...leaning forward, trying to see who was passing on the narrow pavement below..." Charles Dickens, 1849
The building is now secure due to a modern steel internal support framework.
Built by a crooked man who probably "ran" a crooked mile.
