From the rear garden. V1 modified to give a bigger sky V2 colour as taken with just a few usual tweaks. Could be a touch of 'Marmite' with the extended sky. As modern software makes it possible, why not?

What an amazing place to live at Ivor !! The mono in V1 is really great but I prefer the colour in V2 - somehow gives more perspective Smile

Great shot V2. V1 (B&W): too many copy-paste clouds. Smile

both look great...V1 probably needs the bigger sky, as you say whether you like it is a marmite question. I do Smile

The drama of the mono seems to suit this better.

Classic Dungeness. v2 for me, beautifully done and doesn't need the extra sky, v1 the perspective on the added clouds isn't quite right.

I know the place well, you've caught its strangeness. I'm so glad to see the garden is being cared for now, a few years ago it was looking a bit sad.
I like the idea of the square image, and of b&w, but the cloned clouds, particularly on the left, could do with a bit more work, the repeats are a bit obvious; and for me the sky is too heavy, overpowering. It distracts attention from a very fine composition.
A while ago we were walking near here when a man approached us and asked for directions to Jarman's cottage. It was his first visit. He said 'This place is surreal, we're staying between a nuclear power station, a nature reserve and an army firing range. Where else could you find that?'

Apart from some fairly obvious cloning in v1 (deliberate?) this is a very strong image indeed. A
