You captured the atmoshere perfectly, seems so devoid of human life even though I know its actually crammed with people, for me it highlights the fact that I live in the country, and having played in bands in US in all the cess pitts punk bands play in, I just long for green fields and space. Certainly brought a lot of stuff back and I stared at this image for ages, nice work.

definitely a great image for so many reasons =)
there is something special in the whole feel of this image that makes it more than a record shot of a city - this is a photograph captured by someone with a talented eye for seeing great things. i love the mood and atmosphere of this image and there is something about the sunshine that brings a feel of hope
great image and would look great with atleast 20 more in a gallery called "my new york" =)

Great capture - I like the contrast between the muted, smoky tones of the buildings and the fiery red of the setting sun.

A cityscape in all its horror but at the same time quite fascinating. I like the lines crossing each other. The misty sunset is fantastic, the type of sunset you would like to see on Grand Canyon but it makes the image here. JNC
