I am 59 years old, British, now living in Crete, Greece. Photography is purely a hobby for me, and I get a lot of pleasure from it. I love animals and birds, I have one Amazon, two African Greys, a yellow labrador and a black labrador X alsatian. I am 100% an amateur photographer, using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 point and shoot camera. I am in no way technically minded, just like to take photos with the press of a button. The Panasonic is an ideal beginner's camera, everything is automatic if you want it to be, no fiddling with lens etc.
My main subjects of interest are bugs and beasties and wild flowers, and one day I hope to compile a book of images of all the wonderful critters I have found and photographed here in Crete.
