Need a good bit of help please.
My recommendation, Ronnie, would of course be the Panny Lumix DMC-TZ7, cheap, cheerful, and in my opinion, takes excellent photos Smile

What a strange person you must be, making such conclusions of this excellent site within 23 hours, posted absolutely nothing, I wonder what you are basing your idea of 'junk' on???

Is anyone else experiencing a slowdown on the site this afternoon, and a problem viewing variants, or is it just me?

Should you upload images on flickr if you want to sell them?

Quote: If you're looking to sell images then probably the best site is Alamy:

ALAMY

I've used them for several years with some succcess. Read their guidance notes as they are quite helpful.

I think Flickr was linked with Getty Images in some way but I'm not sure about that.

I checked out ALAMY, and note that they will NOT accept images taken with a compact camera, which I use. Who is to say that a compact camera can't take as good an image as a DSLR?

Pop ups on Ephotozine
Interested to see you are having the same problem as me, Kate, I have been inundated with pop-ups whilst using ePZ for about a week now. I suggest you put a report in to the team, as I did, and David was very helpful in advising me what to do. I have been free of the wretched pop-ups all of today, long may it last Smile

I used to be a regular Bingo player, and was quite lucky, but there's no gambling (legal!) here in Crete, so |I had to give up my hobby.

What is everyone doing for christmas?
A little peace and quiet, on my own, apart from Parker, Pico and Pedro, the three parrots, and Sabre and Laddie, the two labs. Not forgetting the 35 chickens, though the number might be lessened over the festive season WinkSad
Wishing everyone a wonderful day, and every good wish for the New Year.

Boutique hotel in Worthing required.
I am an ex-Worthing lass, and would recommend the Windsor Hotel, not large but very pleasant and excellent staff. Another suggerstion would be the Burlington Hotel. Good luck Smile Carol

bagman.
Very sad news, Frank was a talented photographer, who always had a kind word to say, and was bright and cheerful despite knowing that his future was very bleak. I will certainly miss his wonderful images, and give my sincere condolences to his family. He is at peace now, the pain has left him, and I like to think that he is watching over his friends at ePZ, and remembering the good times. Carol

We wish you a speedy recovery Sue
Great news for Sue, Ade, and glad to hear that things are at last picking up for you. Not a good year for you both, let's hope that 2013 is the start of something good, that you will soon get out and about on your beloved Levels and start taking photos again, and uploading them to EPZ. We have all missed you, missed the banter and quips, and can't wait until you get back. Take care, and I'm still living in hope that this year you will be fit and able to make the trip over here.
