I spotted my first caterpillar yesterday, about time too Smile This beauty will eventually turn into one of my favourite butterflies, a swallowtail, as pictured in V.3.

I agree with Colleen, wow and how amazing it is to see how this caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly but we can see the colours are there even in its larva stage. all threa are fantastic images.

This has to be one of the most caterpillars (and butterflies) around, to me.

I love the angle of V1 and the caterpillar going along the leaf edge, Carol, but prefer the extra detail shown in V2.
