Acrida ungarica, more commonly known as the slant faced grasshopper. Very well camouflaged, they are usually green or beige in colour, and are found in grassy meadows and barren areas of scrub.

A super set on images here Carol. I saw many of these in Africa when walking through the veld. Nearly always seen because they flew a short distance as my walking disturbed the grass. I finally managed to get my images from yesterday uploaded. A
