At last, yesterday I managed to get a half-reasonable pic of one of these little fellas. Not sure of their correct ID, so help requested from one of you experts out there, please!
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
looks like an immature female Common Blue to me, could be wrong?
Nice captures either way...
I love the almost metallic shine on these wonderful creatures. I think both versions are equally lovely images.
Two very good close-ups. Super detail and amazing colour, looks so shiny, like stainless steel.......Sandy

Fabulous! Never seen one as green as this, and you managed to catch him against perfectly co-ordinated tones. V1 is so unusual as a composition, with that strong vertical.

2 magnificent captures..
hope your feeling better... keeping you in my thoughts
Congratulations, I haven't got one yet.
What lovely captures! So cool you managed to compose these so well too. I have no idea what they are but the words 'mayfly' and 'damselfly' spring to mind. Although I can't say for sure that I even definitively know either one!

This might also be one of the Eastern Mediterranean varieties. You need the best local guide to insects you can find.
Fabulous macro work Carol. Full of detail and an excellent pose. No help with the ID though.
