I have been trying for ages to get a half decent image of a bee enjoying the borage flowers. You may or may not know but borage is similar to hellebores, where they hang their heads downwards. In the end, I decided to ‘shoot blind’, I held the camera underneath the flower when a bee appeared and just pressed the shutter. Here are a couple of ‘bees bums’ for you to enjoy, and V.3 is a fraction better than a bum!

If that's the detail you are going to give us of 'bee's bums' then the full frontals should make a few people's eyes start to water !!! SmileTongueWink

I have thousands of bees bums images as these critters never stay still in the face of the camera. These are wonderful, not least because of the beauty of the borage flowers. Have you tried them in your Pimms yet?

very pretty flower not one I have seen before, V3 is very good as far as the bee goes and V2 shows the transparency of the wings perfectly V1 is the best image of the flower IMO

Would be a bummer to choose between them Grin. But I do like the clarity and detail in v2 particularly. Lovely set, Carol.

So amazing that these are blind shots! Vs 1 and 2 are so sharp!!

V3 is not as sharp as the first two but it is, to me, the handsomest shot Smile

Well, I think it's inconsiderate of the bees to flash their bums at you when you're photographing them! Definitely not a bum set of images though, Carol Wink
