It's interesting what I can find in my large canna lily bush. My contribution for the Saturday shadows is provided by this couple of canoodling critters.
Have a great weekend, everyone.
Canoodling is the perfect word here.
I like your alliterative description of your critters, Cartrol: good detail and strong shadows for the Saturday theme.
But no Everton Mints today???
Super shadow captures Carol,
Capably captured creature capers, Carol.
Bit of a mis-match by the look of it but two fine captures, and strong shadows on the leaf.
Oh they are sooooo cute.
Gorgeous . V2 is very special, how they look at you!
A fine work.
Excellent shadow image.
Two great shots with shadow, nice macro detail, like both regards Leon.
love them both ... and have a good weekend
Brilliant shadows both!
Two extraordinary images Carol
to extremely interesting images xx
Canoodling critters in the canna - love it!!!!
Love the pov in V1 and the canna leaf itself makes an image on it's own.
Have heard of shadow boxing, but never shadow porn Carol . Well captured. Moira
Seems romance is no dead!! As ever, great images.
Your critters positioned themselves so nicely on the canna leaf, giving a perfect background for their canoodling.
oh Matron!!!! great shots
Great shots, V2 pips it for me, the head on look is excellent especially with the smaller grasshopper peeping out from behind the largers leg.
It looks like a mother and baby to me. Do like how they are looking at you in V2.......Sandy
Looks like a mother and baby to me too. Really cute.
I agree with Sandy and Chris it looks like a mother cricket carrying her offspring, two fine close up captures as always Carol
Looks like they've paused their canoodling to see what you're up to with your camera! Two brilliant shots, Carol, and V1's my fave
They're showing off very well against that leaf Carol! They are rather cute!

Good idea, but unfortunately not, they were well and truly 'joined'
Honestly Carol you have a filthy mind! You can clearly see that it is a baby clinging on to its mothers back! I await to hear what the Big O has to say, he should know what is going on as he's the entimologist expert on here!

Must be mind over matter.
Or eat your hearts out guys.
Definitely looks like Mum and Baby, how cute x
Two good images here Carol
but then they always are..cute whatever
Well, I'll be darned! He looks so little. Where there's a will there's a way I guess. Thanks for informing me Carol. ......Sandy
You're as daft about wildlife as I am!
One so much smaller than the other not seen by me before, good use of shadows to Carol
Two great shots and shadows
