A bright and sunny day at the weekend had me taking a trip to the local pond, where I was delighted to spot quite a number of these dragonflies, a real pleasure to see at this time of year.

v2 is an excellent composition, Carol, with the wings framing the head, and oh so close detail.
V2 leaves me speechless - so close - so well done
Another fabulous image, Carol! I love the almost sepia tones, and the details and clairty, especially in the wings, is phenomenal! It's perhaps a tad too close to the left margin, but you could always stretch the background a bit farther off.

There be dragons in Brizzle too Mr O, I was at the museum yesterday afternoon after work, there was an exhibition on Chinese Dragons there as well at the Wildlife Photography exhibition which I went to see!
