I'm always happy to see bees Carol - the declining population of bees in the world is troubling.

I've never seen longhorn bees and feel quite rightly that we should have them in Texas - this is after all the state of longhorn cattle.............

Stunning shot Carol of the Solitary Bee "Eucera longicornis" I have never seen one in my part of Herefordshire. If you want to find out more about the Bee's you take a lot of photo's of, get yourself the book "Bees of Surrey by David W. Baldock " it is very informative.
