Kohlrauschia velutina, more commonly known as tufted pink, belongs to the family Caryophyllaceae. It is a wild flower with bright green leaves which are linear in shape. It has tiny pink flowers, the petals of which are lobed, and veined with red through their centre. The flower head is surrounded by pointed, dry bracts, only one flower opens on a plant at a time

The flower resembles a corn cockle, and the bug resembles a stink bug Smile However, these are three perfect images.

Hope you had a nice Christmas.
