Great managing to get the two very different specimens in focus so well in the one frame, Carol.

Spots and stripes, excellent and unusual. Strangely, yesterday I saw both a ladybird and a large dragonfly, confused, I think all 3 of us were.

Lovely duo! Our ladybirds metamorphose in late October early November and they do it in exactly the same spot on the local graveyard where we walk the dogs. They are doing it now. Maybe this is a freshly metamorphosed adult?
