This wasp was sunbathing on the wiegela last week, and I thought I'd see how close I could get to it with my little point and shoot. I was quite pleased with the result, usually anything I point at takes fright and departs before I can press the shutter!

This morning I have woken to a bit of sunshine, after yesterday's appalling torrential rain, so I hope to get out with the camera today and see what I can find. I hope everyone enjoyed their Bank Holiday weekend.
