On my travels between jobs today, i spotted this field that was completly covered in mauve and purple coloured weeds/flowers, they come out once a year for about 5 weeks. The field was preety featureless, then noticed the odd dandelion and thought a low angle shot might look ok. I used a polarising filter and upped the saturation slightly to enhance all the lovely colours in the field, trees and sky.

works well.... not sure, but the flower may be a type of "wort."

The colour contrast between the single dandelion and the field of purple is good, as are the white clouds in the sky but the saturation is just a bit too much for me, Daryll.

Great capture and colours nicely saturated. Sharpening has added to this image without being overdone. For me could be a little lighter in places and the and the line of flowers where they meet the background straightened slightly. Still an interesting attention grabber. Regards
