Taken at Dungeness this week, trying to be a little creative with the Dungeness theme, as so many images have been taken here.
Cheers my friends.
there have been many as you say but all have a different composition always good to see what others do as well nice one Darryl
Wonderful subject! Love the view point and those eye pleasing textures...
Works well for me, like the textures although not to sure about the out of focused chain
This is great! I love the angle you took the picture from.
Really fine composition. I like the more artistic view of this beach.
Love the moving chain
I somehow knew it was yours Darryl - brilliant comp my friend xx
Lovely angle there Darryl, and
you managed to give the chain a look of movement
Love the detail in the foreground boat, you can even make out that one of the screws is not fully screwed in. Not sure about the movement in the chain though, when you compare it to the detail in the boat it just doesn't seem right. But this is this my opinion.
Yes there has been lots, your image stands out, what a great pov, excellent photography Darryl
Excellent & different composition used.
Wish this place wasn't so far away....
I think that you can always find more images at Dungeness Darrly, the o/o/f chain draws the eye though, but I still like the image a lot
Superb angle beautiful capture.
Well thought out composed image. Beautiful and creative.
a wow image..
I do think you have achieved something different here, Darryl, the boat dominates and has a lovely sweeping line through the frame. I like the little boat in the background, which is dwarfed by your subject. Lovely texture in the wood and rust, and the chain is an interesting element, but I really don't like the out-of-focus one hanging vertically alongside the boat. I don't know if you used a long exposure and the chain was swaying, or if you did this in post processing.
The site isn't picking up your Exif so I have no idea how long the exposure was. It's a nice idea, I think I would like more lateral motion blur in the chain or none at all. Not always easy, I was trying to photograph a fire bucket swinging on its hook the other day, even at 1/10 second the b***** stayed reasonably sharp!
Great angle of capture, excellent result, Darryl !
A great textured image
The composition from that low angle is very good, Darryl. Pamelajean sums it up perfectly for me as well.
Nice picture you and my old mate madbob would get on he likes fishing
