Taken a couple of days ago, really found this one difficult to get the exposure and processing correct, due to the difficult lighting conditions. however it still looks a bit flat but I liked the composition.
Cheers all my good friends on EPZ.
Darryl. Smile

A really lovely low-light scene. The birds bring this image to life - I'd be more than happy if it was mine! SmileSmile

The composition works very well, the inclusion of the birds adding a touch of realism in this somewhat dreamy lowlight coastal composition. However your choice of processing leaves the sea looking somewhat like an old pair of grey corduroy trousers and IMHO not very appealing. "Sorry mate"

Yes,tricky to get the exposure right in these lighting conditions Darryl.
You have made a good fist of it though.
And what a cruel man Rod is about shooting the birds.
It reminds me of a cruel girlfriend I had.
During the 70s we went a weekend camping on the cliff tops at Eyemouth.
We awoke one morning to the squawking of a seagull on the roof of our tent.
It made a dreadful racket and my girlfriend got up and said she was going to kill that damned bird.
I always knew she was a dizzy blonde, and my suspicions were confirmed, when she went to the cliff edge and threw the bird off !!
Mick.
