Another experiment, this time with shadows, and a bible ( not really you have to pretend its the bible and not Paul gascoigne`s autobiography), advice on achieving a better depth of field or shallow depth of field, would be appreciated, or anything to improve the idea.

Sorry Darryl, that would be bigamy, lol, but would gratefully accept that ring ![]()
. Very good effect on the shadows of the ring - gives a double heart, like how the bottom one is solid and the top one is not - hope that makes sense.
I did something similar a while ago. If you go to page 19 of my pf, second bottom row and there is a shot called Everlasting Love. A joint effort with a friend with her wedding ring and bouquet.

If you did want shallower dof could try opening up to ur max apperture. (im still learning so hope this is correct!? apologies if not) (if you have one 50mm prime would also give nice shallow dof)
