Taken yesterday morning on Kingsdown beach, the sun was quite low but i still had to stand on tip toes to get the suns reflection throught the rusty stanchion. Yes, i did go a bit dizzy and nearly fell in again, surprised it is in focus.
This is an excellent capture Darryl. Well spotted. The things we photographers do to get a photo.
Love the sunlight through the rusty piece and the multi colours on the water!
Well spotted and captured Darryl,
A great idea well spotted like that a lot! and the rain bow effect in the pool of water, regards Leon, take care now!
Brilliant! Well seen and captured Darryl. Love the reflected sunburst coming through, and the colours on the beach are beaut.
the sacrifices we make
Now this is is OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!!! Well done you !!!
Excellent shot. Looks like it belongs from Mordor!
well spotted and fine capture
Excellent idea Darryl, and well done for spotting it, it almost looks like an oxy-acetylene torch cutting a hole through it. (11 votes, 10 comments and an award, all i got was 1 vote, so, i have re-posted what i think is a slightly better image than the last one, see how that does
Anyway, because you had the idea and helped me get my shots, and because i think it's a cracking shot, i think you deserve my first ever award. Well done.
Excellent work, Darryl, a very unusual photograph and a great idea too.
I trust you can swim . . .
This Darryl is excellent, love it.
Very nice Darryl. You really should carry out a risk assessment before participating in these dangerous sports.
Terrific capture, Darryl.
Superb work again....very creative comp
This is what most of us find so difficult.......coming up with a new take or perspective on a standard theme. You have a keen eye for the unusual and captured such an example with exemplary skill.
Beautiful...and innovative Darryl.. reckon your proud ( and rightly so) of this one!!
Brilliant one to be proud of Darryl..Lin
Very different and very well done, Darryl. Amazingly sharp and gorgeous! Congrats, my friend!

A great find...
The object looks so much bigger..
Then you see the water and detail there...
very very nice
Well spotted - an unusual but welcome new angle and not just a reflection. It really does look like a flame or spark.
Great image........... well worth a dizzy spell
