Taken yesterday, whilst returning from a weekend break, a chance image really. Difficult to get a decent sunset from where i was because of all the trees, the image would have had to much darkness to it, managed to get some height behind a few reeds, so fired off a bit of fill in flash to get some foreground interest.
Cheers.
Darryl. SmileSmileSmile

Very nice interpretation of this beautiful sunset, Darryl: stooping low to catch the f/g grasses lit up by flash against that sky makes a delightful and original image.
Very well done.
Ronnie.

Lovely mix of colours, Darryl, a combination of real and artificial cloud (the vapour trails); but what really holds my gaze is the grasses both high and low.
During an afternoon's walk by the Royal Military Canal back in June I was struck by the sheer variety of grasses growing on the banks. Too bl**dy lazy to get the camera out - silly me Sad

Bill

Trademark colour, Darryl. Recognized this from the thumbnails. It was an amazing sunset yesterday. The fill in flash has done a perfect job, a very striking image.

Would have been just another sunset but including the reeds & using fill-in flash has added up to a beautiful evening shot .
