Taken today in a boatyard nr Sandwich, quite a few boats were derelict and in various states of repair, this was the view through an old porthole of one of the derelict boats. I missed this shot first time round, but my good mate Rod pointed this one out to me, so if you see another similar image, it was Rod`s idea.![]()

Well spotted, Rod. Clever use of the port hole. Maybe off-set it in the frame a bit more. Nicely done, Darryl.

Blimey, did you have time to get your shoes off when you got in!!
you uploaded this a bit quick!
don't worry there's plenty of votes and awards to go round (you can have the ones i dont get
).
Even though it was my idea, you have the better shot, so well done, it has processed nicely, keep up the good work.
Very well spotted - whoever it was that did! And you got a cracking shot with an interesting "view" through the porthole. Well done ![]()

Lavina
wonderful grot window.
now here is an idea... You need PS to do it but gimp or so should also work.
next time try to take TWO shots without moving to much. One you focus on the foreground, one on the B/g.
then align them in PS ( select BOTH layers, go to layers, auto align) .
now you can try auto blend but I rather do it by hand, but the foreground sharp one above the background sharp and erase the middle bit ![]()
presto!!
