Excellent location, but for me 2 small things spoil this image from being a TOP CLASS image, the ducks and the boathouse should both be removed ,then i feel you could potentially have the Photo of the week.

I agree about the ducks, but, looking at the shot beofre seeing your comment, I was thinking that a slightly lower viewpoint, bringing the boathouse fully into the shot, rather than being partly obscured by the overhanging branches, would also improve it.

It would provide a link between foreground and background, (the boat away from its house, indicating someone had used it to go somewhere).

What are your thoughts on that idea?

Having been there myself, I know that this is a bit difficult - unless the owner of this bit of land in the foreground kindly allows you access to it.

Anyway, you got the the situation (boat in the water instead of on the land) that I was looking for, but didn't get...
