A brief break in the clouds allows the sun to break through casting a beautiful beam beyond Spar Island on Loch Tay, Perthshire. After an hours drive, it didn't look too promising on arrival for any drama on this particular evening, but a little patience was rewarded in spades. A fabulous evening to be out with the camera.
A revisited shot. Looking back I felt the processing last time lacked a bit of finesse, so I had a play. Introduced both a lighter and darker bracketed shot into this one to expand the shadow and highlight detail.
Cheers for looking in.

Can't remember now Andy as it was a little while back but I think it was a 0.6 Hard ND Grad.
This one is predominanlty a single shot but has both a lighter and darker image blended back in to reveal a little more shadow detail and retain a touch more highlight detail around the island and the sun burst.
