Another bit of wildlife today. This obliging male Peregrine is in fact called Loki, and was supplied from a local bird of prey centre for a location shoot in the Cairngorms.

A handsome chap and a real poser! V2 in the heather.

I hope you like it.

And thanks to all those who commented and voted on Win Hill yesterday, totally overwelmed by that one.

Good detail in V2 but the pose, composition and DOF means V1 is my chose. Excellent shots

V1 he looks so magestic,
i wondered why all the birds had vacated my backgarden last week and then i saw a lad training a Harris Hawk on the green behind our house, he wants some photos but he wont run to the cairngorms. lol

Beautiful bird, isn't he? And two absolutely splendid images to boot. Wonderful eye contact, and super use of dof. I'm not going to choose between, I love both - but for different reasons. Not so much your usual offering on epz, but every bit as much of you!
