I've been choosing my pics for the annual calendar to inflict on family and friends. have made a few adjustments to this one, so thought i'd share it with you as i'm thinking of entering it in the local club comp as it did ok on here. not sure if its better or not, sure you'll let me know.

Well, Lesley, I loved the original, but I think this even better - it shows off the foreground detail better. Good luck with entering it in your competiton, it deserves to win. And if you feel like inflicting one of your calendars on me, I'd willingly buy one...

This is absolutely spiffing Lesley.
I havent had time to read all the other comments as there are just too many to scroll through so forgive me if I repeat others comments.
This is one of my favourite places, not only on this coast, but in the world. we visit regularly. I have not seen a better image of the castle than this, and I have seen tons!

Well done, every day in such a spot is different, great composition, flowers bring that joy in the picture and stones, brick ruins, mist all details working together in harmony and leading us to see the further what you expressed as the sun comes up. Just a bit more movement to the sky maybe?
