Had a quick play with a new technique, a big thanks to Paul (Sut68) who pointed me in the direction of luminosty masking.
Needs more practice.

Really nice image, I love the colour of the ice against the yellowy/orange sun works well! The lead in lines to the people are perfect too.

It's the composition that counts. I remember this scene well from past uploads, you used the opportunity well. Strong lines, tiny fugures that tell a story.

Nice composition and the tyre tracks create a strong lead in line to the image. Good work.

Luminosity masking sounds useful, presumably for burnt out highlights (I will have to 'google' it). I like all the different lead in lines to the anglers at the centre, Lesley and some lovely tones in the different quadrants.

I love how the sky changes from left to right here. The sky in the middle and on the right is gorgeous, by the way Smile

Perfect composition and the presence of the people and vehicle makes this so interesting.

For me, though, I'd like a bit more light/exposure on the rocks. Tiny bit, though.

The composition is the draw here, Lesley, well for me at least. The light and atmosphere add to that, of course, but that strong lead-in and the scale provoded by the distant figures does it for me.
I have seen this scen from you before and it would be interestingto know where you have applied the luminosity mask.
