Hello, this one is to thank Cor who has inspired me to post after a long absence.
I havent been on for a long time, this one is from a short break at Christmas. Although it felt very cold, we were lucky with the weather. Had a fun few days with Steve, Ash and Aaron.
Thanks for looking, and wishing everyone a happy Easter

Utterly gorgeous scene and light, Ccat. Superb composition with that sweep of cloud going into the top left corner.
As for colour...cooor...lovely colours in the sky, bouncing off the water and onto the concrete ![]()
But my favourite part of this is the housy thing and the light falling on it.
Bravo ![]()

You've made Sandsend look inviting!
We normally only drive through it on way to Staithes from Whitby. Excellent composition and exquisite lighting. Lovely image, Lesley.
Dave
A richly deserved award for a stunning image, excellent.
Tony

Well deserved awards.
Keep posting.

Welcome back, Lesley, nice to see you uploading again - and what a beautiful and colourful image, too, one of the best I've seen of Sandsend ![]()
Hope you're now much better health-wise, and that you and your family have a wonderful Easter ![]()
Look forward to more uploads from you ![]()
Take care,
Trev ![]()

Cracking image.
Hi Lesley,
Cracking shot, what's left to be said? I agree with it all. Lesley you can bring that sun light out a touch more and I've made some alterations in the mod. If your using elements make a copy and in the blend modes go to "Overlay" and then reduce the opacity until you like it, what overlay does is subtly alter colours and contrast. You know, I think i've been banging on about this all week but for such a simple thing it can make a very dramatic change to some images.
Take care
Martin
Nice one Lesley, good to see you posting again.
Tom
Good to see you back, Lesley, and well done to Cor for inspiring you to post again. Love the light in this. That almost looks like icicles hanging off the sea-wall!
Malc
Very nice to see you posting another image, Lesley: I had been wondering what you were getting up to.
And to come back and receive this awards straight away must bring additional strength to your photographic elbow.
Two fine versions of this scene and I'd be hard pressed to select one over the other.
Hope you and your's are having a pleasant and happy Easter weekend.
Ronnie.
Ooooh!!...and another cracker. This is the way to post photos. None of this post one a day crap, just post what's good and let others enjoy 'em. Easily V2 for me Mrs. Cat, simply due to the additional contrast. BTW, this is now my favourite of the three that I've just looked at!!
Wonderful colours & I like the movement of the waves
