Was chuffed to see several siskin last weekend, on a good day out with Tony. The males were quite shy though.
I have lightened the bg, cropped and sharpened. I know its not great when compared to the wildlife toggers but i've had a go and want to try again Smile
Any constructive advice would be gratefully recieved as i have alot to learn. lesley Smile

A stunning capture. Lovely plain bg which really brings out the colour and detail of this beautiful bird.

Good details and colours in the feathers Lesley, V2 for me, however would back off the darkening slightly more.

look good. (you can hide it again now) Tongue

Seriously Lesley, you don't give yourself enough credit...the detail is very good and there are lots who would be very happy with a shot like this.

Hands down, one of the loveliest bird images I have ever seen. And look at the gorgeous detail and colour in the tail feathers!

Ccat, you must be so proud of this. What a stunner...
