Another fine portaite image Cathy, I like lighting, the good eye contact and the textures and tones too. For me the position in the frame works well too.
Must have a look at using bleach bypass as it seem to work quite well with these.
Again I have a couple of comments, (I hope you don't mind) the lens and eblow position has made the eldow a feature of the image which may have been your intention but for me it the proportions that spoilt it. I know crops are a personal thing but I would crop this to just above the hand to give the attention to the face. The hair across the eye has cast a shadow and that is a shame, but hey it still a fine image, always worth looking to see where the hair is before pressing the shutter.
Regards Richard

Hi Richsr, Thanks for your comments...no I don't mind at all...all crit welcome.
The comp was intentional. I took this with the elbow position in mind and wanted the use of the table or the grain pattern . I was hoping that the darkness of the corner was taking some emphasis away from the elbow just leaving a subtle hint at the comp....lol
I have to say I'm happy with the comp/crop but agree about the hair...hopefully it just looks a bit tussled.![]()
Really nice photo, love the hair and the pose. the desk and background work well to give a hard but interesting image.
