Nothing against Marilyn Monroe, quite a good statue and likeness, and you've captured it well Sandy, but I wouldn't want it in my home town, bit over the top, to say the least!

OTT indeed, more Madame Tussaud's than art, but it makes a very striking image.

When I google-imaged Sonny Bono I saw several of this statue as well. Wondered if she'd make an appearance GrinGrin I bet she garners a lot more interest than many statues Grin

Dave

Larger than life, as she was. But sad too.

good one Sandy

A fine piece of work, and very nicely captured, Sandy - it's nice to see figures included to give it sense of scale Smile

Always felt so sad for her and somehow this OTT statue just adds to it, though having said that you've captured it and its setting really well.
