Spoil sport!
Perhaps you'll sneak a 'camera club' shot in under the radar from time to time to keep us on our toes. In the meantime, more rusty magnificence and a rather strange green hose attached to some old rope! Great stuff!
Ann
A triple bowline, half-hitch, granny... would recognize it anywhere ![]()

Composition, colour and textures make this a winner Mick,
Fred.

We appear to have an ex-Boy Scout in our midst, and he's pinched what I was going to write, but I refuse to get up any earlier on a Sunday just to beat ol' Dave to the funnies![]()

Instead of posting your CC stuff on here, why not enter your rust 'n' grot images to the CC???
Malc
This reminds me of Foggy Dewhurst in an early episode of Last of the Summer Wine, trying to tie perfect knots but however complicated they look they still pull apart immediately they are tugged...
I loved the b&w stairs. But this is far more you.
Moira
I was never a Boy Scout, only a Cub, so I never got beyond reef knots.
This looks a bit like a woolyknot to me: concocted on the basis of "can't remember what move I made last so I'll do a couple of extra half hitches to be sure." It never worked.
Fantastic detail, Mick. Rather refined grot - must be your Sunday best!
Regards
Bill
Brilliant shot Mick, great textures and tones , well spotted and captured.
Hugh
Great shot, plenty of textures and colours.
Not sure of the type of knot, but it certainly looks like one of my attempts at a sheepshank, alright then as my cub scout leader called it, a tangle.![]()
Andy
Congratulations on your nine UAs, Mick, it was a pleasure to have been one of the contributors! ![]()
A fine capture of your specialised subject here, and the arrangement of that rope looks to have been very thoughtfully placed! ![]()

Yes, definitely a Mick shot! ![]()
A super find, very interesting things going on here - Apart from the nice rusty ring, there's textures, a neatly coiled rope, a touch of green and some blue band-aid!!![]()

Your prior image was superb Mick, but I do so enjoy these compositions of rust, rope and other goodies that you come up with. They are indeed also well composed and thought out.
Anne
Now there's a man who sticks to his principles, we on EPZ all like your rust and grot. However, it was good to see one of your camera club pics, but even all of those awards couldn't deter you from returning to your inimitable style.
I will KNOT say any MOOR, because you have a CONCRETE formula for success, but maybe you will be persuaded to RING the changes again sometime soon.
I just LOVE the Knot in the centre Mick, a smashing comp' and title.

John said all the right things.
And I feel very reassured!
Hard core rust and rope, just what we've come to expect from a man of your calibre
