Looking back before we look forward (to our next holiday). Street Life in Guamote, Ecuador.

We visited the Inti Sisa as part of our tour. Amongst other things they provide education services to young chldren where there is no state alternative. The Ecuadorian people are very friendly and always offer you food and drink (mainly alcoholic!!!) wherever you go. GrinGrin

INTI SISA is a NON PROFIT FOUNDATION that organizes workshops in Guamote, a small Andean village at 3056masl in Ecuador. INTI SISA joins the local development plan of Guamote that consists of seven strategic areas, amongst them education and tourism. INTI SISA works non-stop with volunteers from Belgium and the Netherlands (volunteers from other countries are welcome too!!!).

Must be siesta time of day. There is a quietness about the scene. Even with the couple talking leisurely at the open door. Well captured and perfect for mono.......Sandy
