I didn't plan to visit any charity shops today but I had to pop into town to pay for an excursion to Tyntesfield House and just happened to pass one on the way. Of course I had to nip in for a quick look and came back out carrying a nice coffee pot which cost me a whole 2.49 Smile I could hardly leave it in the shop at that price.

I was going to upload this to my portfolio but am undecided if it's up to scratch. I'll look at it tomorrow and decide then.

You are so fortunate to have such good charity shops, round here you would be lucky to find a coffee cup let alone a pot like that. Smile

I've got the same problem as Ken with shops up here. Will have to try Newcastle ..... a 17 mile journey though. A long way by bus to look for stuff.

17 miles is nothing Smile - I do about 27 miles each way on Saturdays to visit dad in hospital - by car that would be about 45 minutes - by three buses it takes an extra hour - needless to say I rarely get anything else done on Saturdays but if I get my act together I can have a look round the antique/junk/charity shops in Gloucester first and there's a very good, if expensive, collectible type shop in Lydney too.

Yep - I do well in Cheltenham - some days there is absolutely nothing to be found but, like yesterday, the odd item pops up and their prices are excellent Smile

Bargain! Turkish coffee pot? And complete with free dust! Yaaay. Another cracking capture too, by the way.

I've just slightly adjusted the colour and brightness so shall pop it into my portfolio - I'm unlikely to have much time this evening to get anything decent done Smile
