I've just been up to the park by my office on my lunchbreak and took a walk around the lakes. As I was wandering up alongside one of the lakes a chap zoomed by on his pushbike and under his arm was a rather large swan

Sadly I had been playing with the filters on the X10 and only had a chance to lift, zoom and snap. I promise - that white blob under his arm is a swan.......

he went up to the top end of the lake where the other swans are and released it there.

Saw the title and thought you had been darning holes in woolly socks / gloves

Certainly cold enough down here where I am to get the woollies out ! !

I've not darned socks since I was in impoverished bedsit land - and that's a long long time ago

I've no idea what it's like out - I'm sitting at my desk at work bare armed at the moment

Calibrate your monitor so you can see 16 different shades.
