I thought I'd get the glass chess set out earlier this evening and try that on the perspex. First I had to remove the black felt base on the pieces - it didn't look good at all.

I think I need to try moving the light further back - the texture of the nylon on the softbox shows up too much - though I've not noticed that happening before - shall investigate another day.......
