326 (1959)I wandered into town this morning - fairly early to avoid the heaving masses and although it was pretty busy I knew it would be hell by about 1pm so I made the right choice.
I got off the bus at an earlier stop than usual and wandered into the Promenade where the craft market was set up (I never know when it's on - always hit and miss with me). As usual I perused the stands and the stuff was ok but nothing grabbed me until I walked past a stand manned by 'Rachel Pritchard-Ceramic Artist'. I'm afraid this little pot grabbed my attention immediately and I told her to put it by until I came back later. It is now on the mantlepiece waiting for me to clear some of the junk that has accumulated.
Naturally being a rather shiny little pot it was a sod to photograph and I really couldn't be bothered to clear the table of all the Woody bits and bobs so I draped a cloth over a pot which in turn was stood on a plant stand. I then positioned the light right above the pot pointing down so that the reflection of the light disappeared inside the pot. With a less textured cloth it might work quite nicely.
